Coal Tar Solution is a topical anti-eczematic to be used after dilution in water. It is antipruritic, keratoplastic, weakly antiseptic and is indicated for use in eczema, psoriasis, itch, dandruff and other skin conditions.
Precautions
Precautions
Do not use undiluted.
Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on inflamed or broken skin. After bathing, avoid exposure to direct sunlight unless otherwise directed by the physician. Slight staining of clothes or temporary staining of light hair may occur.Should not be used in children under two years of age, pregnant women and nursing mothers, except under the direction and supervision of a physician.
