ICM Pharma COPHADYL-E COUGH LINCTUS is used for relief of dry cough. It contains Promethazine is an antihistamine, codeine is an opiate agonist which has cough suppressant actions and ephedrine is a nasal decongestant. Promethazine hydrochloride, codeine phosphate and ephedrine hydrochloride combination is used for cough and nasal congestion associated with upper respiratory symptoms due to allergy or the common cold.

ICM Pharma COPHADYL-E COUGH LINCTUS is used for relief of dry cough. It contains Promethazine is an antihistamine, codeine is an opiate agonist which has cough suppressant actions and ephedrine is a nasal decongestant. Promethazine hydrochloride, codeine phosphate and ephedrine hydrochloride combination is used for cough and nasal congestion associated with upper respiratory symptoms due to allergy or the common cold.

Children and adolescents:
Codeine should not be used in children below 12 years old. In those 12 years old and above, codeine may be used for the treatment of unproductive cough which is not relieved by other anti-tussives alone. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration.
Adults and children 12 years old and above: Take one to two 5ml spoonfuls two to three times daily.
Sip and swallow slowly without water.

For the temporary relief, especially at night, of dry, irritating coughs.
Also, indicated for dry coughs associated with congested or runny nose.
Precautions
Precautions
Not for the use in patient suffering from severe high blood pressure and severe coronary artery disease (heart disease caused by poor blood flow or narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart).
May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
Avoid alcohol.
Do not take this linctus for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
