Each teaspoon (5mL) contains:

  • Promethazine Hydrochloride BP 3.6mg
  • Codeine Phosphate BP 9.0mg

Uses

  • It is indicated for the temporary relief, especially at night, of dry, irritating coughs such as post influenzal cough, cough due to pharyngitis or laryngitis, whooping cough and smokers cough.
  • It is also indicated for dry cough associated with congested or runny nose.
