ICM Pharma METOPHAN Cough Syrup contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, a cough suppressant.

METOPHAN is formulated for the effective relief of dry, unproductive, irritating cough associated with common colds, flu and upper respiratory tract infection.

Active Ingredients

Each teaspoon (5mL) contains:

  • Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide USP 15mg

Uses
Suppression of cough associated with common cold, influenza, tracheitis, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, whooping cough and measles.

  • Children 2 – 5 years : Take half teaspoonful (2.5mL) every 6-8 hours.
  • 6 – 12 years : Take one teaspoonful (5mL) every 6-8 hours.
  • Adults and children above 12 years of age : Take one to two teaspoonfuls (5mL to 10mL) every 6-8 hours

Liver disease.

  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
