Betamethasone (as 17 valerate) is a potent topical corticosteroid used for the treatment of severe inflammatory dermatoses that are unresponsive to less potent corticosteroid, eg. eczema, psoriasis, neurodermatoses, lichen simplex, lichen planus, intertrigo, discoid lupus erythematous, generalized erythroderma, seborrhoeic dermatitis, contact sensitivity reactions.

Uses
