ICM Pharma Diphen 5 is a children formula containing Diphenhydramine Oral Solution BP used in loosening of phlegm and effective relief of cough and cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose as well as watery eyes.

Active Ingredients

Each teaspoon (5mL) contains:

  • Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride BP 5mg
  • Ammonium Chloride BP 62.5mg
  • Sodium Citrate BP 50mg

Uses

  • For the relief of cough, cold and bronchial congestion.
  • It is also indicated for the relief of nasal irritation, sneezing and lachrymation.
  • Children 2-6 years: 5ml spoonful 3-4 times a day.
  • Children 7-12 years: 10ml (two x 5ml spoonful) 3-4 times a day, or as directed by the physician.
  • May cause drowsiness.
  • It should not be taken concomitantly with central nervous depressants such as alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, narcotic analgesic, sedatives and tranquilisers.
  • Large doses may precipitate fits in epileptics.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
