ICM Pharma Diphen 10 contains Diphenhydramine Oral Solution BP used in loosening of phlegm and effective relief of cough and cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose as well as watery eyes.

Active Ingredients

Each teaspoon (5mL) contains:

  • Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride BP 10mg
  • Ammonium Chloride BP 125mg

Uses
For the control of cough and alleviation of nasal stuffiness, sneezing, lachrymation and bronchial congestion.

  • Children 2-6 years: half 5ml spoonful 3-4 times a day.
  • Children 7-12 years: one 5ml spoonful 3-4 times a day, or as directed by the physician.
  • Adults & children over 12 years: one to two 5ml spoonful 3-4 times a day or as directed by the physician.
  • May cause drowsiness, may impair ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
  • It should not be taken concomitantly with central nervous depressants such as alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, narcotic analgesic, sedatives and tranquilisers.
  • Use in caution with conditions such as glaucoma.
  • MAO inhibitors may prolong some of their actions.
  • Large doses may precipitate fits in epileptics.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
