ICM Pharma ALUTACID Antacid Mixture contains Aluminum Hydroxide Oral Suspension BP used to relieve gastric pain, heartburn and indigestion due to excessive acid. ALUTACID acts by neutralizing the stomach acid.

Active Ingredient
Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel BP equivalent to 4.0% w/w Aluminum Oxide in a peppermint flavoured suspension

Uses

  • Relief for gastric pain, heartburn and indigestion due to excessive acid.
  • It acts by neutralizing the acid.

Shake well before use.
May be taken diluted with water or milk.

  • Children 6-12 years of age: take up to 5mL (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as directed by the physician.
  • Adults and children above 12 years of age: take 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls (5mL to 10mL), 4 times daily between meals and bedtime or as directed by the physician.
  • (one teaspoonful is about 5mL)
  • ALUTACID should not be taken with Tetracyclines, as it reduces its absorption from gastro-intestinal tract.
  • It should not be taken for more than a few days without medical advice.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
