Description
ICM Pharma POTASSIUM CITRATE MIXTURE BP is used in alkalinisation of urine and in the relief of discomfort in mild Urinary Tract Infections.
Active Ingredients
- Potassium Citrate BP 30%
- Citric Acid BP 5%
- Sodium Benzoate 0.1%

Cystitis:
- Adults and children over 6 years : two teaspoonfuls (10mL) 3 times daily
- Children 1-6 years : one teaspoonful (5mL) 3 times daily
Alkalinisation of urine : two to four teaspoonfuls (10mL to 20mL) every 6 hours
IMPORTANT:
The mixture should be well diluted with water before use.
Renal impairment, cardiac disease and the elderly.
